VIT – Victoria’s Teaching Regulator
rapidly improving teacher registration and compliance
rapidly improving teacher registration and compliance
The Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) is an independent statutory authority for the teaching profession, whose primary function is to regulate members of the teaching profession.
Brooke’s client, the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT), was weighed down by inefficient manual processes that were costly, slow and error prone. Critical data was spread across paper files, systems that didn’t talk to each other and people’s heads. As a result, the VIT was struggling to maintain trust with the teaching profession, its own staff and the government, to keep pace with increasing regulatory responsibilities and to remain financially viable. They knew they needed to transform their processes and give their stakeholders and staff confidence that they were working to a “single source of truth”.
With Brooke’s support, the VIT defined the required business outcome and set about reimagining teacher regulation, transforming the customer experience, rebuilding stakeholder relationships and delivering an IT platform capable of supporting the VIT now and into the future.
The VIT realised benefits from the first release and overall operational efficiency gains have been significant and immediate. As a result, the VIT has been able to do more with less, and now has the capability and capacity to meet future challenges. As well as turning around customer satisfaction and staff engagement the VIT is now able to take a more proactive regulatory role and assure safer schooling environments for Victorian children.
Brooke developed several Salesforce and MuleSoft products and apps, bringing them together to deliver a seamless process for the VIT.
